Automatic Traffic Classifier and Counter.

We have successfully implemented it at our projects where the installed system has been giving satisfactory results with higher accuracy, thus meeting the purpose.

Traffic Classifiers and counters employs set of sensors that provide information on the volume of traffic by hour of day, vehicle profile and various vehicle class, i.e., motorcycle, car, goods vehicles identified by number of axles etc thus play a key role in collection of data meant for traffic survey. Different Vehicle Profiles are identified by passing over loops planted in the road surface.

The microprocessor based system basically employs set of sensors that measures number of passing vehicles, its speed, traffic occupancy, vehicle length and number of axles with the help of especially designed software.

An increased requirement for information on traffic flows from a variety of sources sought by national traffic authorities, law enforcing authorities and consultants undertaking traffic studies in connection with congestion reduction, traffic management and development plans, prompted us to get into traffic survey and audits.
